Started in 1981 by four avid British
enthusiasts, and incorporated in
1989, the Classic British Motorcycle Club of
Cincinnati Ohio, is the oldest and largest
British Motorcycle club in the area.
With a membership of 63, it is estimated that over
200 motorcycles may be represented by our club. From the classic British iron to
exotic European marques as well as American and Japanese vintage and modern examples.
Many club members are very knowledgeable on the
British big three (Norton,Triumph, BSA) and other lesser known marques, and can
provide good information on the care and feeding of your classic iron.
CBMC sends out a monthly newsletter, called The Limey Lines, to members containing info on the next meeting, upcoming events, tech talk, Presidents notes,
etc.
Meetings are held monthly,(usually the 2nd Sunday of the
month at 12 noon at a location chosen by the hosts (two club members).
CBMC organizes an annual Show and Rally featuring a two day swap meet with between 35 and 40 vendors and a judged bike show on Sunday.
Our show is one of the largest in the Midwest and features what many consider to be some of the finest examples of classic and vintage British and European motorcycles around.
CBMC members and their spouses or significant others get together in January for our annual Holiday dinner for good food, camaraderie and to thank said “others” for putting up with our two wheeled habits. The dinner is usually held the Sunday before the Super Bowl.
